SharePoint Systems Engineer

Exalt is looking for an experienced SharePoint Systems Engineer with excellent verbal and written skills and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience with Microsoft technology, specifically SharePoint 2007/2010. Responsible for coordinating the activities of the SharePoint Administration Team (Systems Administrators, Engineers, and Help Desk personnel) to ensure that SharePoint sites are always available to the end users.

Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of all aspects of SharePoint, SharePoint database optimization, network utilization and optimization, system monitoring and management, site creation, custom development, and the use of InfoPath in custom solutions is required.

A firm understanding and experience with governance best practices, policy and procedure documentation, and site security best practices is required.

Candidate will be required to provide detailed architecture analysis, design, and recommendations for software, authentication systems, and hardware resources.

Experience with DNS, ADFS Server 2.0 and Active Directory is required.

The successful candidate must possess the ability to perform requirements gathering, the creation of prototypes, proof of concepts, and presentations as well as act as the subject matter expert for the project.

The ability to interpret business requirements and business processes in order to convert them into system designs is essential.

In addition, an understanding of Claims-Based authentication providers, methods, and best practices for a complex worldwide PKI infrastructure is required.

Architect will be required to implement a single sign-on system for SharePoint 2010 and the existing Lotus Domino platform.

Desired Qualifications :

The ability to work with SharePoint Designer and create custom solutions, complex workflows using C# and InfoPath is highly desired.

Knowledge of virtualization in a multi-tier SharePoint environment is a plus.
